Helping you grow your business.

That Perfect Logo

Thought about what to name your company? Good. You didn’t, or your company already has a name? Also good. Need some help with the naming part? Great! Speak to us after class.

But either way, hold onto your seat, because we’re zooming right into our next topic....

(drumroll, please...)

Logos!

Having the perfect logo is so, so important. Your logo is a tiny symbol that’s meant to represent a huge entity: your business. When people see your logo, they immediately start judging your company. So your logo needs to say: "I belong to a really great company! And here's a taste of what they're like." That’s a big job for a little symbol!

A tremendous amount of skill

...and thought will be invested in developing just the right logo for each business. The graphical possibilities buried inside the name and concept will be explored and concretized. The professional designer will then present the business owner with a series of iterations, until the owner is completely satisfied with the result.

Your ideal logo

  • Will be unique and recognizable.

  • It will have a style that corresponds to your message.

  • There should be some interplay between the company name and the visuals, so that the name is memorable (“that store with the big green E in the logo...what’s it called again?”)

From HighSky's Files

Griffin Office Park is a place where business happens. In this logo, we utilized the skyscraper shape to evoke business. The skyscrapers also represent growth, reminiscent of upward arrows or a staircase to success.

See the G? Notice how it securely wraps the buildings, representing strong infrastructure, while also providing a mnemonic hint to assist in memorability.

HighSky helped Griffin Office Park gain an image as a professional, successful environment, an upward-moving locale where businesses would do well to set up shop.

Above all, remember:

This is your logo we’re talking about. So make sure you’re comfortable with the process. You have to be confident that your needs and concerns are being respected. That your business’s image is in capable, considerate hands, and that the final result is something you can be proud of it for many years to come.
